A hybrid apprenticeship program combining NCCER Construction Technology training with real paid work experience. Advance through three performance-based phases. Progress is based on completed work orders, demonstrated skills, job performance, and readiness—not a fixed calendar.
"Too many young men are told what they can't become. The HIMP Program was created to provide another path."
Not just jobs. Not just training. But a brotherhood. A place where young men can learn skills, earn income, find mentors, and build a legacy that outlasts them.
Every community partnership helps support another apprentice. Every sponsor supports another young man's future. Every graduate becomes proof that the path is real.
America needs skilled tradespeople now. Young men in our community need pathways to careers that pay well and last a lifetime. The HIMP Program connects both.
The HIMP Program is performance-based, not time-based. Participants advance after completing required work orders, demonstrating job-site competency, meeting attendance and safety expectations, and receiving instructor approval. Completion times vary by individual performance and opportunity.
Every HIMP student begins with the NCCER Core Curriculum before advancing into Construction Technology. Your credential is tracked nationally and recognized by employers across the country.
HIMP combines online learning with in-person hands-on training. Every week you learn AND earn.
HIMP graduates are work-ready, NCCER certified, and in demand. These are the companies and organizations that hire, partner with, and support our program.
