Three Performance-Based Phases

The HIMP Program is performance-based, not time-based. Participants advance after completing required work orders, demonstrating job-site competency, meeting attendance and safety expectations, and receiving instructor approval. Completion times vary by individual performance and opportunity.

Estimated completion: approximately 1–2 years, depending on performance, work-order completion, and demonstrated competency.
